Jacobson Cos. to Locate in Lebanon

Jacobson Cos., a third-party logistics provider, has announced plans to expand its presence in the Nashville market.

The Des Moines, Iowa-based company has signed an agreement with Panattoni Development Co. to lease a portion of Commerce Farms IV near the Highway 109-Interstate 40 interchange in Lebanon.

Jeb Atkinson of ProVenture, represented Jacobson on the deal.

The deal kicks off the construction of Panattoni's fourth building in the Commerce Farms development.

Other tenants include Bridgestone-Firestone North America and Visteon Corp.

Jacobson will occupy nearly half of the 277,000-square-foot building, which is set to be delivered in early 2008.

Jacobson will operate the facility as a multi-client campus.

Jacobson manages 28 million square feet and has 6,000 employees through its warehouse, logistics, packaging, staffing, transportation and investment arms.

ProVenture is a national real estate advisory and corporate services firm based in Brentwood.

Founded in 1997, the company has managed real estate and construction projects totaling nearly 50 million square feet in over 120 locations across North America.
